Pretty nails!

So after years of being a MASSIVE tom boy when I was little, so much so that my favourite item of clothing was a pair of old (supposed to be cream) grey holey tracky bottoms! My mum was so ashamed of me wearing them all the time that she threw them in the big black bin but it wasn't long before I got one of my brothers to help me fish them back out, gross I know, but I adored them! But I soon got more confidence and now love all the little pretty things in life..especially my nails! I take pride in them and try to grow them as long as possible without breaking them, but they normally do resulting in nails with all different lengths, not the best look! Now I bet I have got you all looking at your finger nails wondering if they are up to scratch! Got ya! Anyway back on track, I was at my sisters and whilst the kids were occupied she did me a little manicure, which was very much appreciated! Anyway, after some careful consideration I chose my colours (yes more than one colour, I was feeling brave!) so I decided to go with dots that looked like this!

Well that's the thumb anyway, love them? I know I do!

Nature Walk

So I decided that for summer I really needed to get fit and healthy..or at least try to! So I thought I should go on walks and runs but as per usual got slightly distracted and ended up taking pictures of the wildlife and the fields around me! But when I got home almost all of the pictures had been deleted, so gutted! But anyway I am no photographer but got some really nice pictures and thought I would share one with my readers.

Shoes

With it being Summer, I am hoping to be earning a lot more money so can't wait for a massive shopping trip when I have saved! I saw these shoes and thought they were amazing, now I have to try find ones like them on the high street, but I thought I would show you all!

Beautiful right?

Cake!

It was my two sister's birthdays recently and seen as though their birthdays are right next to each other we decided to have a joint birthday cake. So my sister Rhiannon made the most beautiful cake. It was a double chocolate fudge cake, with a chocolate fudge sauce with malteasers suck all around the sides. So I  thought I would share it with you all just to make you jealous! But if anyone would like this recipe, just comment below!

Beautiful Brownies

Okay so seen as though I have had so much time on my hands, I have gotten seriously into baking-especially brownies, definitely my guilty pleasure!

So I tend to use Delia Smith's recipe for brownies just because it is the nicest one I have tasted and really simple to make! But personally, I think I prefer the mixture to the actually cooked brownies. Crazy right? But I always cook them so they are still nice and squidgy and not hard at all (which is good for my braces!) 

So if anyone would like the recipe just comment and I will let you know, they are simply delicious. 

 Hopefully they will turn out like this, nice and squidgy, just how I like brownies!

We all get crusts at the edge of our brownies, no matter how hard you try, so what I did is put them milk and a bit of vanilla ice cream into a blender and it makes one of the nicest brownie milkshakes I have ever tried!

Brace Face!

So a great way for me to start the summer was to get braces, or as the orthodontist calls them, train tracks! I also got them on the last day of high school, so I miss out on the leavers day and shirt signing which was a massive disappointment. I have only had them on for just over a month but I have already been called every name possible. However at least my niece likes them, and calls them sparkly teeth and would like some of her own when she grows up! Always wanting to be just like her auntie Sophie, but who wouldn't!
